The role

LRQA Nettitude is currently going through a period of accelerated growth within our US office. We are looking to further our growth by adding an ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our net new client expansion. The US Sales team currently works with a large variety of industries and geographies, and the BDR will be able to further our presence with an opportunity to prospect within all industries and geographies.

The key objectives of the BDR will be to perform outbound sales activities to generate net new client meetings for the US Sales team. You will be working with the US Sales and Marketing team to build campaigns and generate prospect to perform outreach. Performance will be demonstrated by meeting/exceeding set KPI’s. LRQA Nettitude will provide new hire training that will equip you with an understanding of the cyber security industry along with LRQA Nettitude’s service offering. LRQA Nettitude will also provide the opportunity to eventually own accounts and perform all activities during the sales cycle along with project management skills. As a member of LRQA Nettitude’s team you will provide a first class service to both internal and external customers and ensure our clients are secure and protected.

 

What you’ll be doing in your role:

  • As a Business Development Role (BDR), your main responsibility will be to generate meetings with prospects for LRQA Nettitude’s professional service offerings.
  • In order to generate new meetings, you will be provided a well-defined list of LRQA Nettitude prospects to perform outreach to.
  • You will work closely with both the LRQA Nettitude US Sales and Marketing team to build campaigns and participate in new client meetings.
  • Daily activities will include prospecting, qualifying and developing new business meetings through calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach.
  • As a BDR, you will be expected to become educated on all of LRQA Nettitude’s professional services and Security Operations Center (SOC) offerings.
  • You will conduct high level conversations with upper level and executive information security prospects.
  • Be provided the opportunity to be a part of client meetings with LRQA Nettitude Account Executives to understand the complete sales cycle.
  • As BDR, you will have the opportunity to become an Account Executive after demonstrating sales acumen and performing well against set KPI’s.
  • You will be required to provide strong reporting against KPI’s and overall campaign progress.
  • You will be expected to understand the competitive landscape and demonstrate LRQA Nettitude key value propositions.

 

Key skills:

The following are strong recommendations and in most cases prerequisites of the role:

  • Proven commercial enterprise technology sales experience
  • Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University is preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with upper and c-level prospects
  • Maintain excellent internal relationships, understanding who to go to for required resources
  • A proactive attitude and ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and skill levels in an appropriate manner
  • Motivated, competitive and results driven mindset
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise requirements, whilst maintaining a focus on quality work.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to support outside of their direct area of responsibility.
  • Desire to develop an understanding of the Cyber Security services industry.
  • Good time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while embracing potential challenges

Desirable skills:

  • Ideally with 12 months of relevant security related experience in the past 2 years (not essential)
  • Experience with using a CRM platform
