A Grey box Penetration Testing engagement combines elements from Nettitude’s Blackbox
and Whitebox Penetration Testing services.

In a Grey box Test, Nettitude starts of assessing the infrastructure using a similar
type of methodology to a Black box testing engagement. The tester probes and enumerates
the environment as if they were a malicious attacker on the Internet, without any
privileged information about the applications or services.
Nettitude then builds on the Black box attack vector, combining it with information
that they client has provided to try and initiate more targeted exploitation attempts.
This moves the attack methodology towards that of a White box penetration test.
